PORTLAND--The Portland Pickles have released their 2017 Schedule. The team opens the season on the road, May 30th against the Chico Heat at Nettleton Stadium in Chico, California. They then travel 70 miles south to Lincoln, California to take on the newly formed Lincoln Potters at McBean Park before arriving in Portland in time for the Home Opener against the Marysville Gold Sox on Tuesday, June 6th. Opening Night will feature Magnet Schedule and Seat Cushion Giveaways, as well as a Fireworks Spectacular at the end of the game.
Overall, the Pickles will have 32 home games this summer at Walker Stadium, including day-night double-headers on July 3rd and 4th, against the Medford Rogues and the Perth Heat, an all-star team from Perth, Australia. The Pickles will play Perth for the day games and GWL rival Medford for the nightcaps.
Fan Appreciation Night and the Season Finale will take place Saturday, August 5th. All games Monday through Saturday will have a scheduled first pitch of 7:05 p.m., and Sunday games will have a scheduled first pitch of 5:05 p.m.
