Portland, OR--The Portland Pickles were unable to keep the magic going on Tuesday night, as their five game winning streak was snapped at the hands of the Lincoln Potters.  The Potters won 10-5, after scoring seven runs in the fourth inning. The game was scoreless through the first three innings of play.  All of the Pickles' runs came via the long ball.

Jake Boyd, Zach Hall, Braden De Bendictis, and Charles Middleton each had two RBIs on the night for the Potters, with De Bendictis, Boyd, and Hall each registering two hits.  Isaiah Garcia had three hits and an RBI for Lincoln.

Daniel Lopez put the Pickles in the score column with a solo home run to lead off the fifth inning.  Matt Hardy added a three-run shot later in the inning, and Matt Starcovic hit a pinch-hit homer to deep center field in the eighth inning.  Both Hardy and Zander Clarke had two hits on the night for Portland.

Josh Cooper (2-0) earned the win for the Potters, going seven innings and allowing four runs, while striking out four Pickles batters.

Mike Gagliardi (0-3) took the loss for the Pickles, allowing five runs in 3.1 innings, and striking out four.  Matt Olstead allowed just one hit and one run in 3.1 innings out of the Pickles bullpen, walking four and striking out five.  Pickles reliever Tate Budnick struck out the side in the top of the ninth inning.
The Pickles (21-23) host the Potters (29-15) again on Wednesday in the series finale. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05, and coverage will start at 7:00. The game can be heard on Sunny 1550 and will be streamed on picklesbaseball.com.
