Portland, OR--The Portland Pickles made it five in a row on Friday night at Walker Stadium, beating the Medford Rogues by a final score of 3-1 to tie their longest winning streak of the year.  Medford tied the game at one in the top of the eighth but Matt Hardy delivered a clutch, two-out, two-run single off Rogues' closer Taylor Frost in the bottom of the frame to seal the win.

Bobby Kinne lead the Pickles offense with two hits and an RBI single in the fifth inning. Tate Budnick also had two hits on the night for Portland, including a double in the fifth inning.
Zach Johnson was stellar in a no-decision in his first start for the Pickles, going seven innings and allowing no runs, while striking out three.  Matt Olstead (2-0) earned the victory for Portland, pitching the final two innings out of the bullpen.
Johnny De La Cruz led Medford with two hits.  Medford threw five pitchers in the game, with Aaron Hutchinson (2-1) taking the loss.

The Pickles (31-28) host the Rogues (39-20) in the series finale tomorrow night, looking for their second straight sweep. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05, and coverage will start at 7:00. The game can be heard on Sunny 1550 and will be streamed on picklesbaseball.com.
