Marysville, CA--The Portland Pickles were able to secure an impressive win over the Marysville Gold Sox at Colusa Casino Stadium on Tuesday night, by a final score of 3-1. The Pickles jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and were able to hold on for the win, behind a solid pitching performance from Matt Hardy.

They added an insurance run in the ninth on a safety squeeze RBI bunt single from Andrew Garcia with runners on first and third and one out. It was Garcia's first hit of the season for the Pickles. Both Clarke and Starcovic finished with two hits on the night.
