Casey Spencer Signs With the Pickles

Casey Spencer, San Jose State pitcher, has signed with the Pickles! The righty will be primed and ready this summer to take the mound for the Pickles with an impressive pitch kit and veteran experience with a handful of appearances for the Spartans.

Spencer was named Pacific League Pitcher of the Year during his time at Arcadia High School (CA), along with a perfect 9-0 record. He is a major contributor to a competitive SJSU team and will shine against West Coast League competition this summer.

Portland Pickles Manager, Mark Magdaleno, had this to say about the signing:

“Spence is going to give us a reliable veteran option with impressive pitch ability. Isn’t afraid to attack strikes in big moments. We’re excited to have him in our uniform this coming summer.”
