THE PORTLAND PICKLES AND CYCLING FROG ANNOUNCE HISTORIC PARTNERSHIP

For the first time ever, a sports team will sell THC products LEGALLY at a live sporting event

The Portland Pickles are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Cycling Frog, marking a historic milestone in the sports and THC beverage industries. For the first time ever, a sports team will sell hemp-derived THC products at a live sporting event, establishing the Portland Pickles as pioneers in the field and setting a significant precedent for the federal legalization movement.

Cycling Frog, renowned for its innovative hemp-derived THC seltzers, will become the exclusive THC beverage partner of the Portland Pickles for the 2024 season. This partnership includes the sale of Cycling Frog THC Light Seltzer products at every Pickles home game in Walker Stadium starting at the June 18th, 2024 game, making it the first-ever THC beverage sold in a ballpark or sports venue legally. To start, two flavors of Cycling Frog Light Seltzer will be available, Passionfruit & Lemon, which contains 2 MG of THC and 4MG of CBD per can.

“We're thrilled to be making history with The Portland Pickles. At Cycling Frog, we believe cannabis consumption should be normalized, accessible, and fun! What could be more normal than going to a baseball game and cheering for your local team? Making THC seltzers available at Pickles games is a huge step and we look forward to sparking a broader conversation via this partnership." - Matt Palomares, VP Brand Marketing of Cycling Frog.

This historic partnership underscores the Portland Pickles' dedication to providing unforgettable experiences for their fans while championing progressive movements in the industry. Fans can look forward to enjoying Cycling Frog's THC Seltzers at every home game and participating in exciting promotions throughout the 2024 season.

Oregon has had cannabis – both for medical and recreational purposes – legal for several years now, and sales must adhere to regulations for service from a business, which The Portland Pickles have consulted with OLCC and Portland Parks and Rec, who owns Walker Stadium. Because this product has 2MG of hemp-derived THC per serving, fans who are 21+ are to purchase.

“The Portland Pickles have a responsibility in the sports industry to take leaps and set precedent of innovative partnerships. As we saw in 2019, becoming the first team to ever partner with a CBD company, and quickly teams all the way up to the Major League level across sports follow suit. We are very proud to provide an alternative option at our games with Cycling Frog Products for our incredible fans and the city of Portland!” -Ross Campbell, VP of Business Development .
