Introducing Pickles Care
Pickles Care is the Portland Pickles new 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, dedicated to supporting local organizations and causes that make Portland a better place to live, play, and grow.
Pickles Care is proud to partner with and donate funds this season to three impactful organizations: NMDP (formerly Be The Match), Southeast Portland Little League, and Green Lents. Each of these organizations plays a vital role in supporting our community and beyond.
NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program) operates the world’s most diverse marrow registry, connecting patients with life-saving donors to fight blood cancers and other disorders. Their work ensures that patients in need of a bone marrow or stem cell transplant have access to a global network of potential donors and cutting-edge treatments.
Southeast Portland Little League (SEPLL) serves young athletes and their families in Southeast Portland, providing children of all backgrounds with opportunities to learn and play baseball. Through structured leagues and mentorship, SEPLL fosters teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of the game, helping to strengthen the community through youth engagement in sports.
Green Lents is a grassroots organization dedicated to sustainability and environmental justice in the Lents neighborhood—home of the Portland Pickles. Their initiatives include urban greening projects, community tool libraries, sustainable living education, and advocacy efforts to create a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient neighborhood for all residents.
Through fundraising events, special in-game promotions, and community partnerships, Pickles Care will continue to seek ways to uplift and invest in the Portland community.
